IMPORTANT NOTICE

Attention�banking institutions with an Electronic Lender Transaction (ELT) contract with Washington State

Effective October 1, 2012, the fee for a vehicle electronic title transaction in the WA electronic title system will increase from $9.00 to $19.00. The fee for an electronic vessel title transaction will remain the same at $5.00.

The fee increase is a result of Engrossed House Bill 2660 - An ACT Relating to transportation revenue that passed in the 2012 legislation and affects vehicle licensing fees. Lenders pay these fees directly to the state of Washington and will not see any increase on their Simply ELT invoices as a result of this increase.
